This Is Who I Am

Born to Midwesterners, A. C. Kleinheider spent his formative years almost exclusively in the Northeast. He headed South for college, never left and now calls the region home.

In 2006, Kleinheider was hired to blog full-time about politics from the newsroom of Nashville’s ABC affiliate, WKRN-TV. After a nearly two-year stint blogging at VolunteerVoters.com, Kleinheider was laid off from the station in 2008. He landed a job with SouthComm Communications, Inc. just a few weeks later.

At SouthComm, Kleinheider instituted the NashvillePost.com’s first branded blog, Post Politics. He also contributed occasional articles to the main site as well as a weekly print column in sister publication, The City Paper.

Kleinheider’s work has been linked to by several national blogs and publications including Instapundit, DailyKos, National Review, The Politico, Slate, The Atlantic as well as the New York Times political blog.

Kleinheider is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and in the past has described himself as “overeducated, underskilled and just generally disagreeable.”

Kleinheider currently lives in the Donelson area of Nashville, TN.
